Saturday Stamp Day - You're so special to me

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday!

For today’s Saturday Stamp Day Card I decided to create a card for the Hero Arts January Contest. My card is based on the “Try Something New” Challenge. I am also submitting this card to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: New Something.

I tried a new ink pad, it’s the Soft Granite Ink Pad from Hero Arts. It looks really dark on the Ink Pad Box but when you stamp it, it’s a really soft grey and I just love it! So I wanted to create a one layer card as well, so I used some Inkadinkado Masking Paper and masked 4 different hearts from the Year Round Stamp Set from Hero Arts. For the sentiment I also used the Year Round Stamp Set. I also wanted to use the good old Designer Woodgrain stamp from Hero Arts. An oldie but a goodie. To finish off the card I used the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper.

Voor deze Saturday Stamp Day heb ik een kaartje gemaakt voor de Hero Arts wedstrijd voor januari en ook voor de Simon Says Stamp Challenge: New Something. Voor de kaart heb ik Powder Papier gebruikt van Hero Arts.. Daarna heb ik hartjes gestempeld op maskeer papier en dan uitgeknipt en op de kaart geplakt. Daarna heb ik met de Designer Woodgrain stempel gestempeld op de kaart. De inkt dat ik heb gebruikt is Soft Granite inkt van Hero Arts. Op het doosje zelf lijkt het alsof het een hele donkere inkt is maar het is eigenlijk een zacht grijs.
